This Privacy Policy explains how Statesville ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect limited information necessary to provide the game experience, save your progress, and maintain the global leaderboard.
A. Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your Email Address and a Username (or "Display Name").
- Social Login Data: If you choose to log in via a third party (Apple, Google, or Facebook), we collect your public profile name and email address associated with that account to create your in-game profile.
B. Information Automatically Collected
- Game Progress: We store data related to your gameplay, including your Highest Term, Level, Political Capital, and Points.
- Device Information: We may collect standard device information (model, OS version) required for the App to function correctly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Authentication: To verify your identity and allow you to log in to your unique account.
- Cloud Save: To persist your game stats, themes, and capital so you can resume play across sessions.
- Leaderboards: To display your Username and High Score on the public leaderboard visible to other players.
- Purchases: To verify and restore In-App Purchases (handled securely via Apple).
- Analytics & Advertising: To analyze app traffic and, if you opt-in via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, to deliver personalized advertisements using third-party SDKs (such as Facebook).
- Account Management: To manage your account and provide customer support.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to handle data storage and authentication. These partners may process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase (Firestore & Auth): Used for secure database storage and user authentication.
- Facebook Services: Used for authentication (Facebook Login) and advertising/analytics.
- Google Sign-In: Used for authentication.
- Apple Sign-In: Used for authentication.
4. In-App Purchases
We do not collect or store your payment details. All In-App Purchases are processed securely through Apple's App Store.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information and game data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our active databases immediately.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.
7. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information.
Data Deletion Instructions
In compliance with Facebook and Apple platform rules, we provide two simple ways to delete your data:
Option 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open Statesville app.
- Navigate to the Profile screen (tap the person icon on the Home screen).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap the red "Delete Account" button.
- Result: This action immediately and permanently deletes your authentication record, your profile, and your high scores from our database.
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you may request data deletion by emailing us at:

- Subject: "Request to Delete My Data"
- Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
Tracking Preferences
You can manage your tracking preferences for targeted advertising at any time via your iOS Settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
